About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp bunk bed features a sage and white painted wood finish with an integrated staircase and storage drawers. Constructed from painted timber, this bunk bed unit combines a sleeping platform with functional storage solutions. The design includes a side staircase with built-in drawers, a lower trundle-style drawer, and an open bookshelf mounted along the lower bunk frame. Decorative arched window cutouts adorn the upper guardrail, finished in a muted sage green against a clean white frame. The structure is supported by corner posts with finial details, ensuring a robust aesthetic suitable for a shared bedroom. The lower level includes a mattress area, while the upper level is fully enclosed for safety.

The download is a 96.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users should import this component into the SketchUp model using the component browser or by dragging the file directly into the workspace. The model is organised with logical grouping, allowing for easy adjustment of materials or individual parts like the mattress or storage drawers. It is recommended to place the unit on a dedicated layer to manage visibility and to check the scale against standard room dimensions before finalising the placement within the children's bedroom interior design.

This bunk bed is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly for siblings sharing a room or for creating a space-saving sleeping solution in compact apartments. Designers can utilise this model in concept renders for children's bedrooms or family homes, pairing it with neutral wall colours and soft textiles to complete the aesthetic. Search terms such as space-saving kids furniture, bunk beds with storage, and contemporary bedroom furniture will help professionals locate similar assets for their BIM and visualization libraries.
