About this asset

This SketchUp model set features two rectangular cream fabric area rugs, each with a distinct subtle textured pattern for interior spaces. This set consists of two rectangular area rugs rendered in a soft cream and beige palette. The first rug features a horizontal, linear wave pattern, while the second displays a more abstract, soft-edged geometric or painterly motif. Both pieces are designed with a low-profile pile appearance, suitable for creating a grounded, neutral foundation in a room. The material finish suggests a soft, woven fabric construction, providing visual warmth and tactile interest to interior floor planes without overwhelming the surrounding furniture or architectural elements in a scene.

The download is a 14.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rugs are provided as flat components, making them straightforward to place directly onto floor surfaces. Users should ensure the rugs are positioned slightly above the finished floor level to prevent z-fighting during rendering. The materials are applied as high-resolution textures, which can be easily swapped or adjusted within the material editor to match specific project requirements. Because they are grouped as individual components, they can be scaled or rotated to fit various room dimensions and layouts efficiently.

These rugs are essential for styling residential living rooms, bedrooms, and high-end hotel suites where a neutral, high-quality aesthetic is required. They pair well with mid-century modern or contemporary furniture sets, adding a layer of comfort to hardwood or tiled floors. Professionals searching for floor decor, textile assets, or interior styling elements will find these items versatile for creating realistic floor plans and interior visualizations. They are particularly useful for defining seating zones in open-plan living areas or anchoring bedroom furniture arrangements.
