About this asset

This contemporary Rattan Wicker Hanging Swing Chair set for SketchUp features four distinct variations with metal frames and cushions. This collection comprises four distinct hanging swing chair designs, each featuring a woven rattan or wicker shell. The set includes options with integrated curved metal floor stands finished in black or white, as well as ceiling-mounted configurations. Each chair is equipped with tailored cushions, providing a comfortable seating experience. The woven patterns vary across the models, ranging from tight, dense weaves to more open, airy structures. These pieces serve as focal points in lounge areas, offering a blend of organic texture and structural durability suitable for both indoor and semi-outdoor environments.

The download is a 52.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are provided as modular components, allowing for easy placement within your scene. Use the move and rotate tools to position the hanging chairs precisely. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily adjusted or replaced within the material editor to suit your project's specific palette. Ensure your model is correctly scaled before importing to maintain accurate proportions relative to other furniture and architectural elements in your workspace.

Ideal for residential sunrooms, covered terraces, and boutique hotel lobbies, these swing chairs introduce a relaxed, bohemian aesthetic to any space. They pair effectively with minimalist side tables or floor-standing plants to create a dedicated reading nook or a casual lounge area. Architects and interior designers frequently specify these pieces for projects requiring a touch of organic warmth, particularly in spaces with large glazing or natural light.
