About this asset

This 3ds Max decorative set features a three-panel rattan room divider, a matching rattan armchair, and two potted indoor plants. This curated set comprises a freestanding three-panel folding screen constructed from natural rattan with a classic woven mesh pattern. Complementing the screen is a curved-back armchair featuring a rattan frame and a neutral grey upholstered seat cushion. The composition is completed by two distinct potted plants, each set in a minimalist concrete-style planter; one rests on a low-profile stand, while the larger plant is elevated on a dark timber base. This arrangement provides a cohesive aesthetic, blending organic textures with soft textiles to create a balanced, layered look for interior spaces.

The download is a 50.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this collection is organised into logical layers for efficient scene management. Users can easily toggle the visibility of individual components or merge the entire set into existing interior projects. The materials are mapped for standard render pipelines, allowing for quick adjustments to the rattan finish or fabric colour as required. Ensure the pivot points are correctly set at the base of each object to simplify placement on floor planes, and check for proper scaling relative to your scene units.

Ideal for residential interior design, this set functions well in living rooms, bedrooms, or home offices where spatial division is required. It is particularly effective for styling staged apartments, hotel suites, or boutique retail showrooms. Designers often use these elements to create intimate reading nooks or to add texture to minimalist environments. The pieces pair seamlessly with neutral colour palettes, natural timber flooring, and soft ambient lighting to enhance the feeling of warmth and comfort in any professional architectural visualisation project.
