Purple Metal Wavy Shelving Unit

This modern purple metal wavy shelving unit is a SketchUp model featuring a distinctive undulating silhouette and perforated side panels. Defined by its rhythmic, wave-like side profiles, this freestanding shelving unit offers a bold aesthetic for contemporary interiors. The structure is formed from sheet metal, finished in a vibrant purple tone that highlights its geometric form. Both the side supports and the horizontal shelves feature a grid of circular perforations, which reduce the visual weight of the piece while providing a decorative, industrial-inspired texture. The unit consists of four primary storage levels, comfortably accommodating books and small decorative objects within its compact, vertical footprint. Its slim profile makes it an ideal choice for narrow spaces.

The download is a 10.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp project, import the component and place it using the move tool against a wall or as a room divider. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy material overrides if a different colour finish is required. For rendering, apply a subtle metallic reflection map to the surface to capture light interactively across the perforated panels. Ensure the unit is scaled correctly within the workspace to maintain accurate proportions relative to surrounding architectural elements.
