Potted Olive Tree in Black Ceramic Planter

This 3ds Max model features a contemporary potted olive tree with a slender twisted trunk housed in a sleek black ceramic planter. The model presents a stylized olive tree featuring a dual-stemmed, twisted trunk that rises from a soil-filled base. Its canopy is dense with fine, textured foliage rendered in various shades of sage and olive green, providing a realistic visual weight. The plant is contained within a minimalist, tapered cylindrical planter finished in a matte black glaze, set upon a slightly wider circular base. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for both focal points and background greenery in interior scenes. Every element is modeled with attention to the organic flow of the branches.

The download is a 33.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the planter for easy placement on floor surfaces. Utilize the provided material slots to adjust the foliage translucency or the planter's glossiness if needed for specific lighting conditions. The geometry is optimized for efficient rendering, allowing for simple scaling to suit different interior volumes without compromising the visual integrity of the leaves or the structural form of the trunk.

This potted olive tree is a versatile addition to residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or modern office reception areas where a touch of nature is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, mid-century lounge chairs, or architectural concrete features. Designers often search for this type of asset when styling high-end residential projects, hospitality interiors, or staged commercial spaces. It serves as an excellent filler for empty corners, beside sofas, or as a softening element against sharp, clean-lined architectural surfaces in contemporary design schemes.
