About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a potted indoor Ficus plant with slender branches and vibrant green foliage in a minimalist white ceramic pot. The asset depicts a young, multi-stemmed Ficus tree characterized by its airy, open structure and delicate, light-green leaves. The plant is housed in a clean, cylindrical white ceramic container with a simple, matte finish. The soil surface is textured to provide a realistic appearance, grounding the organic form within the structured vessel. Its proportions are balanced, making it suitable for corners, side tables, or as a secondary accent in a larger interior composition. The foliage is distributed sparsely across the thin, woody stems, mimicking the natural growth patterns of a young tree.

The download is a 4.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a single entity, allowing for easy placement into architectural scenes. Users can manage the foliage density and material shaders through the standard material editor to adjust the translucency of the leaves. Given the file size, it is optimized for efficient viewport navigation. Best practice involves using instances if populating large lobbies or office spaces to maintain scene performance. Adjust the pivot point to the base of the pot for precise alignment with floor planes or furniture surfaces.

This potted plant is a versatile addition to residential living rooms, contemporary office reception areas, or boutique hotel lobbies. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture or mid-century modern décor, adding a natural element to sterile environments. Professionals searching for botanical assets to soften sharp architectural lines or to provide a sense of biophilic design will find this model useful for various project stages, from initial concept renders to final interior visualizations. It serves as an ideal filler for empty corners or surfaces.
