About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a potted indoor ficus plant with dense foliage and a neutral ceramic pot, ideal for interior rendering. The asset represents a small-scale indoor ficus tree, characterised by its compact, rounded canopy of dark green leaves and a singular, slender trunk. It is contained within a simple, tapered off-white ceramic pot that sits atop a matching circular saucer. The soil surface is textured to provide a realistic appearance for close-up shots. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile decorative element that provides a natural, organic touch to any interior space without overwhelming the surrounding furniture or architectural features. Its clean, understated design suits a wide range of contemporary interior styles.

The download is a 16.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single geometry object, allowing for easy placement within a scene using standard transform tools. The plant and pot are grouped, but can be easily ungrouped for material adjustments or individual asset placement. Users can apply custom materials to the pot to match specific design palettes or use the default textures provided. It is best placed as a finishing touch in living areas or office corners, ensuring pivot points are set to the base for efficient snapping to floor levels.

This potted plant is suited for residential living rooms, modern office reception areas, or hotel lobbies where a touch of greenery is required to soften the space. It pairs effectively with minimalist shelving, side tables, or as a standalone piece in a hallway. Professionals searching for interior greenery, decorative plants, or organic accents for visualisation will find this asset highly useful. It is best utilised in mid-to-late stage rendering projects where final set dressing is needed to enhance realism and visual interest.
