About this asset

This comprehensive 3ds Max set features a curated collection of landscaping pebbles and rock formations showcased in modular display frames. This extensive collection provides a variety of natural stone textures and sculptural rock formations. The assets are organised into a series of square and rectangular timber-framed wall displays, each filled with distinct pebble types ranging from white and cream to dark grey and earthy brown tones. Below these cases, a secondary set of individual rock sculptures is presented, mimicking natural mountain or geological formations. These pieces vary in scale and shape, offering a diverse palette of mineral textures suitable for detailed site plans or interior feature walls requiring natural, organic elements.

The download is a 379 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 30 separate objects, set up with V-Ray materials. Open it in 3ds Max with V-Ray installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these assets are best utilised as individual prop elements or as a complete decorative wall assembly. Users can extract specific pebble clusters to populate garden paths, water features, or interior planter beds. The rock formations are modular and can be scaled or rotated to suit specific composition needs. Ensure materials are properly mapped to maintain the scale of the stone textures, and consider using instances for large-scale landscaping areas to keep scene file sizes manageable.

Ideal for architectural visualisations, this set is perfectly suited for exterior garden design, zen-inspired interior spaces, and retail showroom displays. Professionals will find these assets useful when detailing landscape architecture projects, hotel courtyards, or high-end residential lobbies. They pair effectively with architectural water features, modern planters, and exterior lighting fixtures. Search for these items when seeking realistic ground cover, feature rock installations, or material samples for hardscape design documentation in architectural and landscape design workflows.
