About this asset

This SketchUp model features a pair of classic wall mirrors with ornate gold metal frames, ideal for detailed interior visualisations. This pair of wall mirrors features complex, high-relief ornamentation characteristic of classical or baroque-inspired design. The frames are rendered in a metallic gold finish, showcasing intricate scrolling foliate motifs and detailed moulding that surrounds the reflective glass panels. The set includes one rectangular mirror with a simpler, more structured frame and a second mirror featuring a more elaborate, arched top and decorative base elements. The reflective surfaces are clean, providing a realistic mirror effect suitable for interior scenes where ornate wall accessories are required to provide a focal point.

The download is a 16.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these mirrors function as individual components, allowing for easy placement on vertical surfaces. Users should ensure the axes are correctly oriented to the wall face to avoid clipping. The gold material can be adjusted or replaced using the material editor to match specific lighting conditions or scene palettes. Due to the high level of detail in the frame geometry, ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to maintain viewport performance when working in complex architectural files.

These mirrors are suited for high-end residential projects, particularly within formal living rooms, master bedrooms, or grand entrance hallways. They complement traditional, neoclassical, or luxury interior styles, often paired with console tables or placed above fireplace mantels. Architects and interior designers frequently search for these assets to add character to luxury hotel suites or boutique retail spaces. They serve as essential decorative elements when creating evocative, high-quality renders for client presentations, adding a sense of history and refined craftsmanship to the interior space.
