Natural Wood Turned Stool and Side Table Set

This 3ds Max model features a pair of contemporary turned wood accent pieces, comprising a sculptural side table and a matching stool. These two pieces feature a distinct turned-wood profile, characterised by stacked conical and flared sections that create a rhythmic, sculptural silhouette. The wood grain is rendered with a warm, natural finish, highlighting the cylindrical geometry of the surfaces. The taller piece acts as a side table, topped with a shallow, dark metallic-finished bowl, while the shorter companion functions as a versatile stool or pedestal. The design relies on clean, geometric lines that provide a balanced aesthetic, suitable for adding a tactile, organic element to sophisticated interior spaces.

The download is a 2.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating these assets into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor planes. Users should check the scale against standard furniture dimensions to maintain realism. The wood materials can be adjusted via the material editor to match specific lighting conditions or scene requirements. If using a render engine, verify that the metallic texture on the bowl has appropriate reflection settings to capture light correctly within the environment.

These turned wood elements are ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies where a touch of artisan-style furniture is required. They pair well with mid-century or contemporary seating arrangements, serving as functional side tables or display pedestals for decorative objects. Professionals searching for accent furniture, sculptural side tables, or wooden stools for staging will find these versatile additions to their library. They are particularly effective when grouped to create varied levels of interest in a corner or beside a sofa.
