About this asset

This 3ds Max decorative set features a sculptural natural wood stool paired with a ceramic vase and glass accent for interior scenes. The central element is a minimalist stool crafted from a single block of natural wood, featuring a distinct vertical split that creates a negative space through the centre. The top surface retains the raw, circular grain pattern of the timber. Accompanying the stool is a curated decor set consisting of a small, grey-toned ceramic vase, a larger spherical white vase containing a single delicate branch, and a clear glass sphere. These pieces are designed to complement the organic, tactile qualities of the wood, providing a balanced, understated aesthetic for contemporary living spaces.

The download is a 29.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised for efficient scene integration. Users can import the model as a single asset or separate the components by adjusting the object hierarchy. The materials are mapped to capture the natural grain of the wood and the smooth finish of the ceramics. For optimal results, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the stool to facilitate precise placement on floor surfaces, and adjust the lighting to highlight the varied textures of the wood and glass elements.

This decorative set is ideal for styling high-end residential interiors, including living rooms, bedrooms, and minimalist entryways. It functions effectively as a standalone side table or a sculptural accent piece. Professionals often use such assets in architectural visualisations to add character to lounge areas or bedside vignettes. The neutral palette and organic materials pair well with contemporary, Japandi, or wabi-sabi interior design schemes, providing a sense of warmth and authenticity to rendered spaces without overwhelming the surrounding furniture or architectural features.
