About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa features a mustard velvet body with a tan leather chaise section and matching scatter cushions. Defined by its clean, linear silhouette, this contemporary sofa features a striking contrast between a deep mustard velvet upholstery and a smooth tan leather chaise end. The backrest and seat are accented with vertical channel tufting, providing a tactile, rhythmic texture that enhances the piece's modern profile. It sits on a minimal black metal base, creating a subtle floating effect. Two square scatter cushions in matching tan leather are included, reinforcing the dual-material aesthetic. The proportions are balanced for lounging, with a low-profile backrest and extended chaise section suitable for contemporary living spaces.

The download is a 20.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into a scene, ensure the object is placed on a flat plane to align the base correctly. Use the native material editor to manage the velvet and leather shaders, adjusting the specular highlights to suit your specific lighting setup. The model is organized with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of individual components or cushions. Apply a standard UV map if scaling the geometry significantly to maintain texture integrity across the channel-tufted surfaces.

This piece is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, modern apartment interiors, or boutique hotel lobbies where a touch of sophisticated colour is required. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, neutral area rugs, and brass-accented lighting fixtures.
