Modular Walnut Storage Shelving Unit with Slatted Doors

This modular walnut storage unit for SketchUp features a grid of open and slatted-door compartments in a refined Japandi style. Comprising a series of stackable cubic modules, this shelving unit balances open storage with closed cabinets. The doors are defined by distinctive diagonal slats, providing a tactile, rhythmic texture against the warm walnut grain. The system includes a mix of single and double-height configurations, allowing for versatile display and concealment of personal items. Accompanying decorative elements, such as books and geometric ornaments, demonstrate the unit's capacity for curated styling. The overall proportions suggest a low-profile, expansive arrangement, anchored by a solid, clean-lined timber construction that suits minimalist and contemporary interiors perfectly.

The download is a 100 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised as a series of modular components, making it straightforward to rearrange the shelf layout to fit specific wall dimensions. Users should ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily adjusted for scale or grain direction within the material editor. The file is lightweight enough to be dropped directly into a larger architectural model without significantly impacting scene performance.
