About this asset

This modern armchair and matching round ottoman set for 3ds Max features a clean, geometric silhouette in white fabric. This seating set comprises a compact, modern armchair with square, block-like proportions and a low-profile, cylindrical ottoman. The armchair is defined by its deep seat and straight backrest, supported by sturdy, integrated corner legs that maintain a consistent, chunky aesthetic. The matching ottoman provides a soft, circular counterpart, featuring subtle, radial stitching on its top surface. Both pieces are finished in a neutral, textured fabric. The design prioritises geometric simplicity, making it a versatile choice for contemporary interiors that require understated, functional seating solutions that do not overwhelm the surrounding space.

The download is a 13.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor planes. Materials are assigned via standard material editors, allowing for quick adjustments to the fabric's bump or reflection maps to suit specific lighting conditions. It is best practice to verify scale against a standard human figure proxy before finalising render scene placement.

This armchair and ottoman combination is well-suited for residential living rooms, reading nooks, or hotel lounge areas where a cohesive, minimalist look is desired. It pairs effectively with low-slung coffee tables, contemporary area rugs, and floor lamps to create a comfortable, intimate seating zone. Professionals might search for these pieces when specifying furniture for modern apartments, boutique hotel suites, or relaxation spaces in commercial offices, as the set provides both primary seating and additional comfort for project stages ranging from concept design to final visualisation.
