About this asset

Modern pleated fabric curtain set for SketchUp, featuring three distinct drape options in white, beige, and dark grey textures. This collection consists of three floor-length, pleated fabric curtains, each featuring a distinct aesthetic and weave. The set includes a solid white opaque drape, a fine-striped beige version, and a dark grey textured variant. Each curtain is modelled with realistic vertical folds and headers, suggesting a standard pinch-pleat or pencil-pleat heading style. The geometry captures the natural drape and weight of fabric, with subtle variations in surface texture and light absorption across the three options. These components are clean, well-proportioned, and designed to sit flush against wall surfaces or window frames.

The download is a 24.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are best managed by placing them within a dedicated layer or tag for window treatments. Users can easily scale the height to match specific floor-to-ceiling requirements. The fabric textures are mapped to standard faces, allowing for simple material replacement or adjustments to transparency if a sheer look is preferred. For high-quality visualisations, consider applying a slight bump or displacement map to the texture files to enhance the depth of the fabric folds and weave patterns.

These curtains are suitable for a variety of residential and hospitality projects, including living rooms, bedrooms, and hotel suites. They provide a versatile solution for interior designers and visualisers looking to add softness and acoustic depth to rendered spaces. Use these assets to dress floor-to-ceiling glazing or standard window openings in contemporary architectural visualisations. They pair effectively with modern minimalist furniture, neutral colour palettes, and timber flooring, helping to establish a lived-in, comfortable atmosphere in both conceptual and highly detailed project stages.
