Modern Office Desk and Storage Cabinet Scene

This modern office desk and storage cabinet scene for SketchUp features four distinct workspace configurations with integrated shelving units. This collection includes four separate workspace arrangements, each combining a desk with integrated vertical storage. The designs range from executive-style setups with dark wood finishes and glass-fronted cabinets to lighter, natural wood workstations featuring open shelving and minimalist aesthetics. Proportions are designed for standard office ergonomics, incorporating functional elements like cable management zones, display niches, and varying heights for overhead storage. The materials are represented with clean surface finishes, suitable for architectural visualization where distinct wood grains and glass transparency are required to define the spatial quality of a professional or home office environment.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilize this SketchUp scene by isolating individual desk and storage assemblies to populate specific room layouts. The components are organized for easy selection, allowing users to apply custom textures or adjust dimensions to fit unique floor plans. Best practice involves grouping these elements into components to maintain scene performance and using layer management to toggle between the different furniture variations. Lighting can be fine-tuned by adjusting the material transparency of the glass elements to achieve the desired level of realism in final renders.
