About this asset

This modern platform double bed in 3ds Max features a natural wood frame paired with a white grid-pattern duvet and sage green runner. This platform bed features a clean, minimalist low-profile base constructed from natural-finish timber with a visible wood grain. The bedding assembly includes a white duvet adorned with a subtle grey grid pattern, complemented by a sage green runner draped across the foot. The headboard area is styled with two plain white pillows and a central square cushion featuring the same grid motif found on the duvet. The proportions are balanced for a contemporary bedroom setting, offering a streamlined aesthetic that prioritises simplicity and functional comfort without unnecessary decorative flourishes or ornate detailing.

The download is an 18.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max project, ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy floor placement. The file structure should be checked for consistent layer naming to allow for efficient management of the bedding and frame components independently. Users should apply high-resolution textures to the wood base to capture the grain detail, while ensuring the fabric shaders are adjusted for appropriate light absorption and realistic soft-body draping in the final interior visualisation render.

This bed is suitable for residential master bedrooms, guest rooms, or boutique hotel suites where a clean, contemporary look is desired. It pairs well with minimalist nightstands, wall-mounted sconces, and neutral interior palettes. Professionals often search for this type of asset when populating modern apartment projects or staging architectural visualisations that require a relaxed, lived-in feel. Its versatile, neutral colour scheme makes it a reliable choice for various design styles, from Scandinavian-inspired interiors to soft, modern residential schemes.
