Modern Multicoloured Book-Stack Reception Desk

This modern reception desk for SketchUp features a playful, book-stack inspired aesthetic with vibrant, layered primary colour accents. Designed with a whimsical, layered aesthetic, this reception desk mimics the appearance of a stack of oversized books. The unit features a neutral grey internal workstation, complete with integrated storage bays for computer towers, keyboard trays, and desktop surfaces. The exterior is defined by bold, horizontal bands in blue, green, orange, and yellow, creating a high-contrast, sculptural profile. The structure is finished with smooth, clean lines, suitable for environments requiring a focal point. The assembly includes two computer monitors and decorative floral arrangements, maintaining a professional yet approachable visual impact for visitors.

The download is a 52.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised by component, allowing for easy manipulation of the desk structure or individual elements. Users should utilise the native layer system to toggle the visibility of the computer peripherals and decorative accessories if not required for the specific render. Ensure the model is scaled appropriately to the floor plan before insertion. Textures are applied as standard materials, which can be easily edited or replaced within the material browser to match specific project colour palettes or branding requirements.
