Modern Metal and Rattan Swing Chair Set

This SketchUp model set features various modern swing chairs with metal frames, rattan detailing, and fabric cushions for diverse interiors. This collection includes six distinct swing chair designs, encompassing both floor-standing and ceiling-suspended configurations. The frames are constructed from tubular metal finished in white or black, supporting spherical or platform-style seats. Materials include woven rattan textures, smooth metal surfaces, and soft fabric upholstery for cushions and bolsters. The designs vary from cocoon-style egg chairs to flat-platform garden swings. Each piece is detailed with suspension hardware, including chains or ropes, providing a versatile range of seating options that balance structural rigidity with a relaxed, casual aesthetic suitable for contemporary living spaces.

The download is a 27.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 6 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as individual components, allowing for easy selection and placement within your scene. Use the move and rotate tools to adjust the orientation of the hanging chairs relative to structural beams or ceiling mounts. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp textures, which can be modified or replaced via the materials panel. Ensure your model units match the project scale before placing these chairs to maintain accurate proportions in your architectural visualisations and interior design layouts.
