About this asset

This modern 3ds Max model features a rectangular white marble planter filled with cacti and encased in a minimalist glass display box. The assembly comprises a low-profile rectangular planter finished in white marble with distinct grey veining, resting on a slim black base. Inside, the arrangement includes several tall columnar cacti surrounded by smaller ferns, moss-like ground cover, and natural river stones. A clear glass enclosure with a black frame caps the display, providing a clean, architectural aesthetic. The proportions are balanced to serve as a focal point in a contemporary interior, combining organic textures with refined stone and transparent surfaces to create a sophisticated, high-end botanical display.

The download is a 80.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is best managed as a standalone object. Ensure the glass material is correctly assigned with appropriate refraction and reflection settings to maintain transparency. The model's individual components, such as the cacti and stones, are typically grouped for easy placement within a scene. Users should verify the pivot point is at the base for accurate floor-level positioning. Adjusting the lighting intensity around the glass enclosure will help achieve realistic highlights and depth within the display.

This piece is suitable for high-end residential living areas, hotel lobbies, and luxury retail showrooms where a curated, low-maintenance botanical element is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, modern stone flooring, or as a standalone feature in a reception area. Designers often search for this type of asset under terms like indoor terrarium, modern plant display, or decorative marble planter to fill corners or provide visual interest in architectural visualisations and interior design projects.
