Modern Light Wood Shoe Storage Bench with Grey Cushion

This modern low-profile shoe storage bench for 3ds Max features a light wood frame topped with a grey fabric cushion for entryway seating. The unit is designed as a functional entryway bench, combining open storage with a comfortable seating surface. It features a rectangular carcass finished in a light natural wood veneer, divided into three equal-width compartments suitable for organizing footwear. A thick, grey upholstered cushion sits flush on the top surface, providing a soft seat for changing shoes. The clean, linear geometry of the frame keeps the footprint minimal, making it suitable for tight circulation spaces. Included in the set are decorative accessories, specifically a fringed rug and various footwear models, adding realistic clutter to the scene.

The download is a 71.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layering, allowing for the easy isolation of the bench from the included props. Users should check the pivot points upon merging to ensure the bench sits correctly on the floor plane. The wood and fabric materials are applied with standard mapping, which can be adjusted for scale if necessary. Using an HDRI environment will help realistically capture the light interaction between the light wood surfaces and the soft fabric of the bench seat.
