Modern Grey and Wood Modular Seating Scene with Planter

This modern 3ds Max scene features a square modular seating island with integrated bookshelves, a central planter, and plush cushions. This square modular seating unit is designed as a central island, incorporating functional storage and greenery into a single footprint. The base is constructed from a combination of matte grey panels and light natural-wood surfaces. Each side includes open shelving for books, topped with comfortable, neutral-toned fabric seat cushions and scattered throw pillows. At the heart of the unit sits a square planter containing dense foliage and a flowering tree, creating a focal point that integrates nature into the interior environment. The proportions are balanced for open-plan spaces, offering a multi-functional solution for seating and storage.

The download is a 67.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene is organised for efficient integration into larger architectural projects. The model is structured into logical layers, allowing users to toggle the visibility of the vegetation, books, and cushions independently. Materials are mapped for standard render pipelines, with textures applied to the wood and fabric surfaces. Users can easily scale the unit or adjust individual modular components to fit specific room dimensions. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base center for straightforward placement within floor plans or interior layouts.
