About this asset

This modern green fabric armchair, provided as a 3ds Max model, features a curved tub-style silhouette with light wood side panels. This set features two matching armchairs defined by a deep, curved backrest and a hexagonal seat base. The upholstery is a textured green fabric, providing a soft contrast to the rigid, light-toned timber panels that frame the outer sides of the backrest. Tapered metal legs support the structure, adding a refined, slender profile to the overall design. One chair is presented with a draped, neutral-toned fabric throw, adding a layer of realism and casual detail to the composition. The proportions are compact, suitable for intimate seating arrangements in contemporary interiors.

The download is a 3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max asset into their scene as a grouped object for efficient placement. The model includes standard material assignments, allowing for easy adjustment of fabric textures or metal finishes via the material editor. The geometry is clean and optimized, making it straightforward to scale or reposition within a living room or lobby layout. The draped throw is a separate element, which can be toggled or removed depending on the desired level of detail for specific architectural visualisations.

These armchairs are ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or modern office breakout areas. Their compact, curved shape makes them particularly effective for creating small conversation nooks when paired with a central coffee table or side table. Designers might search for these as accent chairs or lounge seating when looking to introduce a pop of colour into a neutral interior scheme. They work well in both minimalist and eclectic spaces, providing a comfortable yet sophisticated seating solution for various interior projects.
