Modern Fabric Roman Blind Set

This modern fabric Roman blind set for SketchUp features three distinct textile patterns including solid white, check, and stripe. This collection of three Roman blinds presents a clean, modern aesthetic suitable for contemporary interior schemes. The set includes one solid off-white blind and two patterned variations: a classic gingham check and a vertical pinstripe, both in neutral grey tones. Each blind is modelled in a partially folded, raised position, showcasing the characteristic soft horizontal pleats and integrated fabric folds of the Roman style. The geometry is finished with subtle textile textures, providing a realistic look for close-up architectural visualisations without overwhelming the model file with excessive edge detail.

The download is a 30.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these blinds into a SketchUp scene, import the component and snap the top edge to the underside of the window head or the reveal. Because the models are grouped, they can be easily scaled to fit various window widths or heights. For optimal rendering, ensure the texture mapping is aligned with the fabric grain. If using a high-end render engine, consider adding a slight bump map to the fabric surfaces to enhance the depth of the textile weave.

These Roman blinds are essential for residential projects, particularly in bedrooms, home offices, and living areas where soft window treatments are required. They pair well with minimalist or transitional decor and provide a quick way to add texture and visual interest to a window reveal. Professionals searching for window dressings, textile blinds, or soft furnishings will find this set useful for staging interiors in both new-build and renovation projects. They work effectively as standalone elements or layered with secondary curtains.
