Modern Black Plastic White Metal Bar Stool

This modern bar stool is a SketchUp model featuring a contoured black plastic seat supported by a slender white metal four-legged frame. Defined by its clean lines and minimalist profile, this bar stool consists of a moulded, slightly dished seat shell in a matte black finish. The seat is mounted onto a lightweight, four-legged metal frame finished in a crisp white powder coat. Integrated into the leg structure is a simple square-profile footrest, which provides both stability and comfort for the user. The overall proportions are slender, making it an unobtrusive seating solution for high-top surfaces. The design prioritises functional simplicity, balancing the organic curves of the seat with the rigid, geometric precision of the metal base.

The download is a 1.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised as a single component, allowing for efficient placement in interior scenes. Users can easily adjust the height by scaling the legs or by modifying the component group. The materials are applied as simple colours, making them straightforward to replace or map with custom textures. Given its low file size, it is ideal for populating large architectural models without significantly impacting viewport performance or rendering times when using external plugins.

This piece is well-suited for contemporary kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and high-top dining tables in residential projects. Its neutral colour palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into modern or minimalist commercial spaces, such as office break-out areas, boutique cafes, or hotel lobby bars. Designers looking for a versatile, unobtrusive seating option for open-plan living areas or hospitality environments will find this stool a reliable asset. It pairs effectively with industrial or Scandinavian interior schemes where clean, functional furniture is required.
