About this asset

This modern armchair, provided as a 3ds Max model, features a distinct black leather seat supported by a polished chrome frame. Defined by its clear modernist aesthetic, this armchair features a minimalist tubular chrome frame that provides a stark contrast to the plush, black leather seat and backrest cushions. The design emphasises geometry and industrial materials, with a square silhouette and slender armrests that extend from the primary structure. The leather upholstery shows subtle, realistic tension and soft creasing, suggesting a comfortable, lived-in texture. The frame is composed of simple, clean lines, creating an open and airy footprint that maintains a low visual weight suitable for contemporary interior environments.

The download is an 11.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation or integration into larger scenes. Users can apply standard material editors to adjust the reflectivity of the chrome or the sheen of the leather to match specific lighting setups. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement in architectural visualisations. Ensure that the pivot point is correctly aligned with the base for easy positioning against walls or within furniture groupings in a floor plan.
