Modern Black and Timber Double Work Desk with Storage

This modern double work desk SketchUp model features an integrated shelving unit, glass block partition, and dual workstations. This comprehensive workstation system combines a dual-user desk surface with a tall, integrated storage and shelving unit. The desk features a natural timber-look top paired with white accents, supported by a slim black metal frame. A vertical fluted panel provides a structured backdrop to the workspace. To the side, a glass block partition wall adds texture and light diffusion, while a low timber bench extends the footprint. The upper section includes closed cabinetry and open shelving, providing a balanced mix of concealed storage and display space for books and decorative accessories.

The download is a 13.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups and components, allowing for easy placement and adjustment of the desk, shelving, and chairs. Users can modify the material finishes on the timber surfaces or metal frames by editing the associated textures within the materials tray. The model is scaled for standard office ergonomics, making it straightforward to insert into architectural plans as a complete workstation block, or to explode and customise individual components for specific space requirements.

This workstation is ideal for contemporary home offices, collaborative studio spaces, or modern corporate environments where efficient use of vertical space is required. It pairs well with minimalist task lighting and ergonomic office chairs, fitting seamlessly into interior design projects focused on productivity and organisation. Architects and designers can utilise this asset to populate floor plans or create detailed 3D visualisations for residential and commercial office fit-outs, specifically when designing shared workspaces that require integrated storage solutions.
