About this asset

This modern circular side table set for 3ds Max features two contrasting pedestals with glossy black tops and metallic gold accents. The set comprises two distinct side tables, each defined by a circular tabletop and a tapered, conical pedestal base. One table is finished in a monochromatic black, providing a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. The second table pairs a black glass top with a polished gold base, introducing a touch of luxury. The proportions are balanced for use as accent furniture, suitable for flanking a sofa or serving as a standalone display surface. Included in the set is a sculptural table lamp with a patterned gold base and a small decorative accessory arrangement.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max model directly into their scene, ensuring the geometry is correctly scaled for the project environment. The materials are structured to allow for easy adjustment of glossiness and reflection parameters to suit specific lighting setups. The tables are organised into logical groups, enabling quick placement or individual selection of the lamp and accessories. For optimal results, apply a high-quality environment map to capture the reflections on the polished surfaces and metallic bases of the pedestal design.

These side tables are ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office lounge areas. They work effectively as a pair for a layered look or individually to anchor a reading nook. Designers often search for these pieces when specifying accent furniture to contrast with plush upholstery or textured rugs. They pair well with contemporary sofas and armchairs, providing a functional surface for small decor items, lighting, or beverages in both formal and informal interior design schemes.
