About this asset

This minimalist white fabric pleated curtain for 3ds Max features a soft, uniform drop and gentle vertical folds for realistic interior scenes. This single-panel curtain features a clean, minimalist design characterized by consistent vertical pleats that create a soft, rhythmic texture. The fabric appears lightweight, offering a natural drape that hangs straight from a concealed header. Its neutral white finish allows it to integrate seamlessly into a variety of interior palettes, from contemporary residential spaces to boutique hotel rooms. The geometry is optimized to maintain the subtle undulations of the fabric, ensuring that the light interaction across the folds remains convincing in both close-up renders and wide-angle architectural visualizations.

The download is a 10.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and align the header with your window track or rod geometry. The object is provided as a single mesh, which can be easily scaled to fit different window heights. Users should apply a two-sided material or a translucent fabric shader to capture realistic light filtration. Adjust the pivot point to the top edge for efficient placement and snapping against wall or ceiling-mounted curtain hardware.

Ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas, this curtain adds a layer of softness to modern interior designs. It pairs well with floor-to-ceiling glazing or standard window frames, providing a finished look to architectural visualizations. Professionals often use this asset when staging high-end apartments or hospitality suites where a clean, uncluttered aesthetic is required.
