About this asset

This minimalist off-white upholstered bench, modelled for 3ds Max, features a continuous curved form and includes a draped herringbone throw. Designed with a clean, monolithic aesthetic, this bench features a seamless, rounded-edge silhouette that transitions smoothly from the seat to the floor. The entire frame is fully upholstered in a textured, off-white fabric, providing a soft, tactile finish. A decorative throw blanket with a distinct grey-and-white herringbone pattern and fringed edges is draped casually across the centre of the seat, adding visual texture and a sense of lived-in comfort. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for placement at the foot of a bed or within a contemporary entryway.

The download is a 24.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this bench is structured as a single editable mesh, allowing for straightforward placement into your scene. The fabric and throw textures are mapped to separate material IDs, enabling easy customisation of the base upholstery colour or the blanket pattern. Because the model is provided as a clean, single object, it is efficient to scale or rotate within your interior layouts. Ensure your scene lighting is set up to capture the subtle shadows created by the rounded corners and the folds of the throw.

This piece is ideal for residential interior projects, particularly within master bedrooms, walk-in closets, or minimalist living areas. It pairs well with modern bedroom suites or as a standalone accent in a bright, airy hallway. Designers frequently search for this type of versatile bench when styling high-end residential suites or boutique hotel rooms where a touch of soft texture is required. It provides a functional yet decorative seating solution that complements neutral palettes and clean architectural lines in contemporary design schemes.
