About this asset

This minimalist 3ds Max model of a round stool features a plush beige fabric seat supported by a natural wood cylindrical base. This compact stool presents a clean, cylindrical silhouette defined by a distinct two-part construction. The upper portion is a thick, circular seat cushion upholstered in a neutral, textured beige fabric, offering a soft contrast to the base. Beneath this, the structural foundation is crafted from natural wood with visible grain patterns, forming a solid, drum-like support that maintains a stable footprint. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for versatile placement in contemporary interiors where a low-profile, functional piece is required to complement existing furniture arrangements without overwhelming the visual space.

The download is a 20.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset, import the file into your 3ds Max scene and apply standard material workflows to the fabric and wood components. The object is modelled with clean geometry, allowing for easy placement and scaling to fit specific project requirements. Ensure your lighting setup highlights the fabric texture and the subtle wood grain to maintain realism in final renders. The model is organised in layers to facilitate simple selection and manipulation during the assembly of your interior scenes.

Ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or dressing areas, this stool serves as an excellent accent piece or additional seating solution. It pairs well with modern vanity tables, low-profile lounge chairs, or as a decorative element in a walk-in wardrobe. Professionals often search for this type of compact, versatile seating when designing minimalist or contemporary spaces that require functional yet unobtrusive furniture. Its neutral palette ensures it integrates seamlessly into various design schemes, from Scandinavian-inspired interiors to more eclectic, modern living environments.
