About this asset

This mid-century style olive velvet bench is a 3ds Max model featuring a tufted seat cushion and tapered dark wood legs. Defined by its classic mid-century silhouette, this bench features a deeply tufted, upholstered rectangular seat finished in a rich olive green velvet fabric. The seat cushion is supported by four slender, tapered legs crafted from dark-stained wood, which provide a subtle contrast to the soft texture of the upholstery. The bench includes integrated, slightly raised arm supports at either end, contributing to its compact and structured profile. Every detail, from the consistent spacing of the tufting to the precise angle of the legs, is modelled to reflect a refined, vintage-inspired aesthetic suitable for sophisticated interiors.

The download is a 13.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single editable mesh object. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to match the project unit settings before placement. The material definition includes a velvet texture, which may require adjustment of the reflection and glossiness parameters to suit specific lighting conditions. The model is organised with logical pivot points for easy positioning against walls or at the foot of a bed, and it is compatible with standard scene management workflows.

This bench is an ideal addition to residential bedrooms, placed at the foot of a bed for secondary seating, or in entryways and hallways where a compact, stylish accent piece is required. It pairs well with contemporary or mid-century furniture arrangements, offering a tactile contrast to hard surfaces like timber flooring or stone tiles. Professionals looking for a classic piece of accent seating will find this model useful for styling living rooms, dressing areas, or boutique hotel suites and waiting lounges.
