About this asset

This mid-century style armchair 3ds Max model features a contrasting grey textured fabric backrest and a smooth black leather seat. Defined by its clean mid-century aesthetic, this armchair features a distinct material contrast between its back and seat. The backrest is upholstered in a textured, mottled grey fabric, while the seat cushion is finished in smooth black leather with subtle button-tufted detailing. The frame is constructed from dark-stained wood, showcasing slender, tapered legs and elegant, angled armrests that extend to the rear of the chair. Its compact proportions and open frame design provide a light, airy visual presence, making it an ideal choice for smaller living spaces or reading nooks.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection and material assignment. The geometry is clean, with well-defined UV mapping suitable for applying custom fabric and leather textures. Users should ensure the model is placed on the floor plane using the pivot point at the base of the legs. Adjust the material reflection parameters to suit the light intensity of your interior scene, particularly for the leather seat surface to achieve a realistic sheen.
