Landscaped Garden Bed Scene with Mixed Vegetation

This 3ds Max scene features a curated landscape garden bed with mixed tropical and temperate plants set against a gravel base. This comprehensive planting scene features a variety of botanical elements arranged in a naturalistic L-shaped configuration. The composition includes tall palms, broad-leaf foliage, dense bamboo clusters, and a flowering shrub with purple blossoms, all anchored within a textured grey gravel bed. The selection balances height, density, and leaf texture to create a realistic garden border. Each plant species is distinct, offering a mix of structural forms from feathery fronds to upright stalks. The gravel base provides a clean, neutral foundation that highlights the vibrant green tones of the foliage and the deep purple of the flowers.

The download is a 116 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this scene in 3ds Max, ensure all textures are correctly mapped to the geometry upon loading. The plants are typically organised into layers for easy selection and adjustment. You can merge this assembly into your master site plan or garden design file. Adjust the opacity or saturation of the foliage maps to match your specific environmental lighting conditions. For large-scale site visualisations, consider using proxy objects to manage viewport performance while maintaining the visual fidelity of the high-resolution plant models.
