Japanese Tatami Coffee Table Set with Floor Cushions

This Japanese-style tea table set for SketchUp features a low wooden platform with integrated tatami-style mats and floor cushions. The assembly comprises a rectangular low-profile timber platform featuring a light wood grain finish, topped with a white surface reminiscent of traditional tatami mats. Centrally located is a minimalist tea table, accompanied by two circular floor cushions in a neutral fabric. The set includes a curated selection of tea ceremony accessories, including a classic teapot and small cups, creating a cohesive cultural aesthetic. The proportions are intentionally low to the floor, designed for traditional floor-seating arrangements common in authentic Japanese interiors. Every component is modelled to reflect a clean, uncluttered, and serene spatial quality.

The download is a 35.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed via a clean component hierarchy, allowing for easy selection and placement within larger room scenes. Users should ensure the platform base is aligned to the zero-plane of the floor layer to maintain accurate vertical positioning. Materials are mapped with standard textures, which can be adjusted or replaced using the material editor. The model is lightweight, making it suitable for populating complex interior designs without significantly impacting viewport performance or rendering times when using external plugins.
