About this asset

This contemporary round ottoman in a classic houndstooth fabric pattern for 3ds Max includes a detailed magazine accessory. This simple, circular ottoman features a low-profile cylindrical form upholstered in a monochrome houndstooth fabric, creating a distinct visual texture. The design is minimalist, focusing on clean geometry and a neutral colour palette of white, grey, and black. It is accompanied by a single open magazine, adding a touch of realism to the arrangement. The piece is well-proportioned for use as a footrest or a compact accent seat in smaller living spaces, providing a versatile functional element that maintains a tidy, uncluttered aesthetic suitable for various modern interior design schemes.

The download is a 9.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and check the scale against your project units to ensure accurate proportions. The material mapping for the houndstooth pattern is pre-configured, but you may need to adjust the UVW map coordinates if you modify the object's scale. The included magazine can be positioned independently to suit your composition, and standard material overrides or adjustments can be applied to match the specific lighting conditions of your final render setup.

This ottoman works effectively in residential projects such as living rooms, bedrooms, or walk-in closets where a small, portable seat is required. It pairs well with modern armchairs or as a standalone piece in a reading nook. Professionals searching for accent seating, footstools, or small-scale decor elements will find this model useful for filling dead space or adding character to neutral interiors. Its classic pattern makes it adaptable for both transitional and contemporary design styles in hospitality or high-end residential settings.
