About this asset

This modern modular sofa in 3ds Max features a low-profile grey leather frame with an integrated wooden side table and accent cushions. This contemporary modular sofa is defined by its clean, low-profile linear silhouette. The configuration consists of two wide seating sections upholstered in a smooth, matte grey leather, flanking a central dark-toned leather ottoman module. A circular natural-wood side table is mounted on a slender metal stem, emerging from the central unit for functional surface space. The design is softened by the inclusion of two large grey back cushions and two smaller, rectangular tan leather accent pillows, providing a layered texture and a subtle contrast to the primary grey upholstery.

The download is a 2.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this modular sofa is organised by object layers, allowing for easy selection of the cushions, table, and seating components. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for efficient placement within a scene. The material library is structured for straightforward mapping adjustments, and the model maintains a clean geometry suitable for high-quality architectural visualisation. Lighting setups should focus on highlighting the leather specular highlights while maintaining the matte finish of the wooden table surface.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas, this piece functions as a central anchor for contemporary interior schemes. Its modular nature makes it particularly effective in open-plan spaces where defined seating zones are required. Architects and interior designers frequently specify similar low-slung, multifunctional furniture for projects requiring a minimalist aesthetic. It pairs well with neutral area rugs, large-scale floor lamps, and curated minimalist decor, serving as a versatile asset for both residential design and commercial hospitality projects.
