About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a grey leather executive task chair with a black metal swivel base and integrated castors. This executive-style task chair features a medium-back design with a distinct tufted upholstery pattern across the seat and backrest. The chair is finished in a muted grey leather, providing a professional aesthetic suitable for modern office environments. It includes fixed, padded armrests integrated into the primary frame, which connects to a robust black metal five-star base. The base is equipped with standard dual-wheel castors for mobility. Proportions are balanced for ergonomic comfort, with subtle contouring in the backrest to support the lumbar region during extended periods of use.

The download is a 3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp project, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain scene organisation. The geometry is scaled for standard desk heights, though adjustments may be required depending on the specific workspace configuration. Users should apply material overrides or textures to the upholstery and metal surfaces to suit specific lighting requirements. As a single component, it can be easily copied and arrayed to populate open-plan office layouts or individual home-office workstations.

This task chair is suitable for professional office interiors, home-office setups, and corporate meeting rooms. It pairs well with modern timber or metal work desks and provides a neutral, functional seating option for commercial projects. Designers often search for this type of asset when specifying furniture for administrative areas, executive suites, or study spaces in residential developments. Its clean, understated design makes it a versatile choice for both contemporary corporate branding and minimalist interior design schemes.
