About this asset

This contemporary modular armchair and side table set for 3ds Max features a button-tufted grey fabric finish and slim metal frame. This set includes a low-profile, armless modular armchair and a matching circular side table. The armchair is upholstered in a soft, light-grey fabric with a distinct button-tufted grid pattern on the seat and a structured, dual-cushion backrest. The accompanying side table consists of a slim, dark metal frame with a cross-base design supporting a circular tabletop. The composition is compact and low to the ground, reflecting a modern approach to lounge seating. Included accessories on the table surface add a sense of scale and realism to the overall furniture ensemble.

The download is a 15.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material adjustments. Users should check the pivot points to ensure the pieces sit correctly on the floor plane. The fabric textures are mapped to accommodate standard tiling, and the metal frame materials are defined by simple reflective properties. When merging this into a larger scene, verify the scale against your floor plan, as these modular units are designed to be grouped or arranged in various configurations.

This set is suitable for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or contemporary lounge areas. The low-slung profile makes it ideal for creating intimate seating clusters in open-plan spaces. Designers often search for these pieces when specifying modular lounge furniture that offers flexibility without sacrificing a clean, minimalist aesthetic. It pairs well with large-scale rugs and floor lamps, serving as a functional focal point in modern interior design projects where comfort and clean lines are equally essential for the final render.
