About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a double-layer curtain set with delicate fabric folds and side tie-backs for a soft finish. This window treatment assembly consists of a dual-layer configuration, featuring a solid, pleated back panel finished in white and a pair of flowing, grey outer drapes. The outer curtains are gathered at the sides with integrated tie-backs, creating natural, soft-touch folds and a draped aesthetic. The model captures the subtle texture of hanging fabric, with realistic volume and depth provided by the overlapping layers. The overall composition is balanced and symmetrical, designed to provide a finished, realistic appearance for interior window dressing in various architectural rendering projects.

The download is a 2.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp component, import the file into your project workspace and use the scale tool to adjust the width and height to fit specific window openings. The model is organised with logical geometry, allowing for easy placement against wall planes. Users can apply custom material textures or adjust the existing fabric colours via the SketchUp material editor to suit specific project palettes. Ensure the object is placed on a dedicated layer for efficient visibility management during the design process.

Suitable for residential and hospitality projects, this curtain model is ideal for styling bedrooms, living rooms, and hotel suites. It pairs effectively with modern or contemporary interior schemes, adding a layer of warmth and realism to architectural visualisations. Professionals searching for window treatments, soft furnishings, or interior finishing assets will find this component useful for adding detail to wall elevations and interior perspective views. It is a versatile choice for both high-end residential developments and boutique commercial interiors.
