Grey Fabric Curtains with White Sheers

Contemporary grey fabric curtains with integrated white sheers for 3ds Max, featuring realistic floor-length pleat geometry. This window treatment set consists of a pair of heavy, opaque grey curtains paired with a continuous layer of lightweight white sheer fabric. The opaque curtains feature structured vertical pleats that maintain a consistent rhythm across the fabric, creating soft, deep folds that terminate at the floor. The white sheer layer sits behind the primary drapes, offering a clean, translucent contrast that diffuses light effectively. The overall design is neutral and functional, intended for high-end residential interiors where a balance between privacy and natural light filtration is required for living or bedroom areas.

The download is a 7.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these curtains are provided as distinct mesh objects, allowing for individual control over the opacity and transparency maps for the sheer and opaque layers. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned with the window head height before scaling to fit specific openings. Applying a cloth modifier can further refine the drape if necessary, while standard scene lighting will interact naturally with the diffuse and opacity maps provided in the material slots to achieve a realistic window finish.

These curtains are essential for residential bedroom and living room visualisations where a soft, layered window look is desired. They pair well with modern minimalist furniture and neutral palettes, serving as a subtle backdrop that adds texture to the space. Professionals often search for these assets under terms like window drapes, layered curtains, or floor-length window coverings when setting up interior scenes. They are particularly useful for projects requiring a polished, finished feel in high-end apartments, hotel suites, or contemporary guest rooms.
