About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a pair of grey fabric curtains with tassel trim, layered over a solid white backdrop. These elegant curtains feature a classic floor-length drape with deep, structured pleats that provide a sense of volume and movement. The grey fabric has a soft, matte texture, accented by delicate tassel trim along the inner edges, adding a subtle decorative touch. They are styled with matching fabric tie-backs that gather the material elegantly, revealing a clean, vertical-panelled white under-layer. The proportions are balanced to suit standard window configurations, offering a realistic look for interior visualisations where soft furnishings are required to add warmth and a finished aesthetic to a space.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these curtains are provided as a grouped component. Users can easily scale the height to fit specific wall openings or adjust the width by manipulating the geometry. The material mapping is applied to the fabric surfaces, allowing for quick texture swaps or colour adjustments via the material editor. It is recommended to place these on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling during the design process, ensuring they do not interfere with structural modelling or lighting calculations within the scene.

Ideal for residential bedrooms, living rooms, and luxury hotel suites, these curtains bring a refined, finished look to any interior project. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture or classic decor, serving as a softening element against hard surfaces like glass or stone. Search for these when looking to populate high-end residential interiors, hospitality suites, or staged apartments where attention to detail is paramount. They work well in both day and evening lighting scenarios, providing depth and realism to architectural renderings.
