About this asset

Contemporary grey fabric armchair and matching ottoman 3ds Max model featuring a sleek metal base and a contrasting yellow cushion. This contemporary lounge set comprises a curved armchair and a coordinating ottoman, both upholstered in a textured grey fabric. The armchair features a rounded, enveloping silhouette with integrated armrests and a piped edge detail for a refined finish. A single, square yellow scatter cushion provides a vibrant accent. Both pieces are supported by slender, four-legged black metal bases that provide a lightweight aesthetic. The proportions are designed for comfort, with a deep seat and ergonomic backrest, making this an ideal choice for residential lounge areas or boutique hotel suites requiring a cohesive furniture pairing.

The download is a 3.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a grouped object for easy scene placement. Users should check the pivot points at the base of the metal legs before snapping to floor geometry. The fabric textures are mapped to standard material slots; adjust the UVW map modifiers if scaling the model to match specific project dimensions. Ensure the scene lighting accounts for the matte finish of the fabric and the slight sheen of the metal legs to achieve a realistic material response.

This armchair and ottoman combination is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, reading nooks, or hotel lobby lounge zones. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or floor lamps to create a focused relaxation area. Professionals looking for 'accent seating', 'upholstered lounge sets', or 'contemporary armchair models' will find this asset versatile for various interior design schemes. It is particularly effective in staged interior visualisations where a pop of colour is needed to break up a neutral palette.
