About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a curated desert-style planter with mixed succulents, cacti, and yucca plants in a concrete base. Presented in a low-profile rectangular concrete trough, this arrangement features a diverse mix of desert-adapted flora. The composition includes two prominent yucca-style plants with spiky, dark-tipped foliage, complemented by various columnar and globular cacti. The base is filled with white decorative stone pebbles, providing a clean, high-contrast finish against the grey concrete container. Each plant displays distinct textures, from the fibrous trunks of the larger yuccas to the ribbed surfaces and subtle spines of the cacti, creating a balanced, naturalistic display suitable for high-end interior environments.

The download is a 36.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should import this asset into 3ds Max scenes as a single cohesive unit, ideal for populating corner spaces or lobby features. The geometry is grouped for easy placement and scaling. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base of the planter for simple surface snapping. Materials are applied to separate elements, allowing for fine-tuning of the foliage translucency and stone reflectivity to match specific project lighting requirements and render engine settings.

This planter arrangement is suited for modern residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or contemporary office reception areas. It pairs well with minimalist architectural palettes, providing a focal point of greenery without the maintenance requirements of live specimens. Professionals might search for this when looking for desert-themed interior decor, indoor landscaping solutions, or low-maintenance botanical assets to enhance architectural visualisations. It is particularly effective in spaces with high light levels or as a contrast to clean, industrial-inspired concrete or stone finishes.
