About this asset

This modern SketchUp model features a pair of two-drawer bedside tables finished in dark wood with contrasting white drawer fronts. These bedside tables feature a clean, rectangular silhouette defined by a dark, rich wood grain finish. Each unit is constructed with two stacked drawers, providing compact bedside storage. A notable design element is the subtle contrast provided by white-finished drawer faces on one of the units, while the other maintains a uniform dark wood aesthetic. The proportions are balanced for low-profile bed frames, with a recessed base plinth that adds a sense of lightness to the overall form. The joinery appears precise, emphasizing a minimalist aesthetic suitable for contemporary interior schemes.

The download is a 1.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organized into components, allowing for easy placement and alignment against bedroom walls. Users can scale the units to fit specific spatial requirements or modify the wood and white materials using the native material editor. Since the geometry is relatively lightweight, it is efficient for populating large residential or hotel room scenes without impacting viewport performance. Ensure the axis origin is set at the base for accurate snapping during the placement process within your master bedroom model.

This storage set is ideal for contemporary bedroom designs, particularly in high-end residential projects or hotel suite developments. They pair well with upholstered platform beds and minimalist headboards. Professionals searching for bedroom furniture, bedside storage, or modern nightstands will find these units versatile for various layouts. They are effective in both master suites and guest rooms, providing a functional yet unobtrusive storage solution that complements a neutral or monochromatic colour palette while adding a touch of sophisticated, dark wood warmth.
