Dark Walnut Venetian Blind Set

This SketchUp model features a set of four dark walnut venetian blinds shown at varying vertical positions with integrated cord pulls. The set comprises four individual venetian blinds constructed from dark-stained timber slats. Each blind is mounted on a slim, dark-toned headrail and features matching vertical ladder tapes that support the slatted structure. The design includes a functional cord mechanism with spherical pulls, allowing for adjustable height settings as demonstrated by the varied positions in the model. The slats are uniform in thickness, providing a clean, horizontal aesthetic suitable for contemporary interiors. The geometry is clearly defined, capturing the repetitive nature of the horizontal slats and the depth of the valance.

The download is a 21.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these blinds are organised as individual components, allowing for easy placement and scaling to fit specific window openings. Users should ensure the headrail is aligned with the top of the window frame and the bottom rail is positioned to suit the desired level of closure. Material mapping is straightforward, as the timber grain is applied to the slat faces, which can be easily swapped for alternative wood finishes or solid paint colours using the native paint bucket tool.

These blinds are ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or professional home office spaces where light control and privacy are required. They pair well with modern interior schemes that feature natural materials and warm, dark wood accents. Professionals often search for this type of asset when populating window elevations or creating detailed interior visualisations for architectural presentations. They are also useful for adding realism to commercial office fit-outs and retail showroom displays, providing a clean, professional aesthetic to glazed partitions or external windows.
