Dark Brown Leather Studded X-Base Nightstand

This vintage-inspired nightstand for SketchUp features a dark brown leather-clad body with brass stud detailing and a folding X-frame base. Evoking the aesthetic of classic campaign trunks, this nightstand consists of a rectangular cabinet finished in dark brown leather. The drawer front is accented by rows of brass nailhead studs along the perimeter and a circular brass pull handle. The piece is supported by a distinctive folding X-frame base, which mirrors the dark finish of the cabinet. The design balances industrial utility with a refined, tactile finish, making it a compact yet visually striking storage element. All structural components, including the decorative rivets and hardware, are modelled to provide a clean, high-fidelity appearance for close-up interior views.

The download is a 2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into SketchUp, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility within complex bedroom scenes. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement against bed frames or alongside lounge seating. If applying custom textures, use the native material editor to adjust the reflection maps on the brass hardware to ensure realistic interaction with your scene lighting. Always check the scale against standard furniture dimensions before finalising the placement in your project model.
