About this asset

This 3ds Max 2-seater sofa features a cream leather tufted back, an ornate gold-finished frame, and four included decorative grey cushions. Defined by its traditional silhouette, this 2-seater sofa showcases a deep-button tufted backrest that transitions into elegantly curved, scrolled armrests. The structure is supported by a prominent, carved wooden or metal frame finished in a metallic gold tone, which extends to the cabriole-style legs. The seat cushion is upholstered in a smooth cream-coloured leather, providing a subtle contrast to the intricate woodwork. Four plush, square cushions in a soft grey fabric are included, adding texture and depth to the overall composition while enhancing the piece's opulent, historical aesthetic.

The download is a 25.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for easy floor-plane placement. The model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for the separation of the cushions from the main frame geometry. Apply standard material overrides to the gold frame to adjust reflections as needed for your specific lighting environment. If using a custom render engine, verify that the leather and fabric shaders are correctly mapped to your scene's light intensity and HDRI environment settings.
