Contemporary Woven and Acrylic Hanging Egg Chairs Set

A collection of four contemporary hanging egg chairs in SketchUp, featuring varied woven rattan and transparent acrylic shell designs. This set includes four distinct suspended egg chairs, each showcasing a unique aesthetic profile. Two units feature transparent, spherical acrylic shells with warm-toned frames, while the other two utilize intricate woven rattan textures in natural wood hues. Each chair is equipped with integrated seat cushions in neutral beige tones, providing a consistent comfort level across the varied styles. The suspension system consists of slender black tension cables attached to individual ceiling mounts, creating a minimalist profile. These pieces are designed to act as focal points in lounge settings, offering a blend of organic texture and modern transparency.

The download is a 19.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organized into individual components for ease of placement and manipulation. Users can easily adjust the ceiling mount height by modifying the vertical segment of the suspension cable. The materials are mapped using native texture coordinates, allowing for quick adjustments to the transparency of the acrylic or the scale of the rattan weave. For efficient rendering, ensure the faces are oriented correctly and apply appropriate material transparency settings if using an external plugin for high-fidelity visualization.
